Sofa Mino Soffice

Mino, the sinuous sofa with fine dawn diamond tufting, single cushions technique.
Cosy and welcoming when upholstered in refined European leather, chrome tanned and aniline dyed, Mino becomes Mino Soffice. The accent upholstery for the backrest is made of British fabric. The hand turned feet can be painted in the color of your choice. Mino Soffice, a feast of craftsmanship.

DIAMOND TUFTING
...three hundred years later, this technique is still in use. There are not many workshops left to carry on this traditional craft, yet this remains a very popular choice that combines classic and modern features and never goes out of fashion. Tufting requires very good eyes and great dexterity, but a lot of patience, too, as the making of a tufted sofa, compared to an ordinary one, takes 4 to 5 hours extra work.

WOOD TURNING
An old craft, reborn and revived every day in artisan workshops. A block of wood is secured onto a lathe and cut with land-held tools, carefully removing the wood shavings until the desire shape is obtained. Workshops that can still carry out turning by hand are becoming rare.
